Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself as a master technician proficient in High End Digital Image Rendering. As a Photoshop expert, I am eager to demonstrate how skilled I am at acheiving meticulously detailed graphic design requests from clients. I've been creating graphics for the printing industry since 1993 and have since mastered the trade. This allows me to move on to other ventures such as vehicle vinyl signage, web site concept and design as well as information technology and pc hardware troubleshooting.

Working in a print shop fresh out of high school, gave me an opportunity to learn and get training in a field with many technologies and aquire skills essential to running a full service graphics department. As i learned from and trained with established shop operators, I accumulated vast knowledge of procedures involving pre-press, film stripping and separations with the use of a Film RIP workstation. A Linotype Imagesetter/Film Recorder, and a film processor for developing high-resolution pre-press film. 4-color work is one of my main specialties and I am very familiar with the intricasies involved when dealing with raster imaging as opposed to vector art. I am familiar with all file formats essential in achieving the highest quality resolution and compatibility when producing color separations for CMYK and Pantone matching systems. Knowledge of creating, assembling and installing vinyl graphics for storefront business windows as well as for vehicle vinyl signage is another powerful skill I mastered while being employed as a graphics designer within the printing industry. I was also trained in operating various large bindery equipment and continued on to production procedures. It's fun work overall and I enjoy working to improve the look and representation of any entity in need of a design makeover.

I am also familiar with procedures involving silk screen work such as designing spot color graphics for T-Shirts, outputting film positives, screen coating with an ultra violet exposure system, and even producing the printed T-shirts by laying down ink with a squeegee.

Concept and design of custom graphics tailored to the specifications given by the client has become second nature to me as I visualize what the client desires as they describe the project at hand and also carefully reviewing past or present projects along with client's remarks and/or comments regarding said projects. If there is a need for my assistance in core elements, brainstorming ideas and concept of the project at hand, or simple suggestions for initial drafts, my 12+ years of experience will serve dominantly.

I have created original artwork for a large number of subjects and continue to satisfy the needs and requests of every client I work with. I have been using the best that graphic design software such as "Adobe Photoshop" and "Corel Draw" has to offer. I have over 13 years of experience using COREL DRAW since version 2.0. and Adobe Photoshop since the release of the legendary version 4.0 which debut the ever so powerful capability of layer functionality. These software titles have since come a long way and are now the world standard in professional graphic design.

The power of such graphics software, along with the knowledge and experience I've gathered, are key elements to a successful design campaign. I am also highly knowledgable of "Plug-Ins" for these graphics applications, which help to produce precise, sharp and eyecatching imaging effects which can make the difference between a basic boring layout and an exciting, innovative touch of graphic design skills. "Alien Skin's Eyecandy", "Kai's Power Tools", "Extensis Phototools" and the entire "Procreations" formerly "Metacreations" line are in my arsenal.
